ABOUT THE EVENT:  Join us on under the live oaks on Jekyll Island for Picnic on the Farm, our Signature Eventure, on Saturday September 16, 2023. Experience a one-of-a-kind agricultural and culinary adventure - Picnic on the Farm is a "pop up" picnic event that explores Georgia agriculture throughout our state. Every year we head somewhere different to learn and this year we are heading down south to the Georgia coast!

At the event, guests will receive a blanket to sit anywhere on the beachfront property (including the beach!). VIP guests and sponsors will be escorted to their pre-set picnic area. Guests will enjoy a seafood boil, seasonal cocktails and picnic lounging against the beautiful backdrop of the Golden Isles Coast.

The purpose of this event is also to educate you about coastal agriculture!

Discover the rich history and diverse ecosystems that shape Georgia's coastal agricultural landscape and gain a deeper appreciation for the farmers and fishermen who work tirelessly to bring food to our tables. Discover the rich history, diverse ecosystems, and the farmers and fishermen behind our food. Enjoy a Georgia shrimp seafood boil, beach tours, swimming, games, and more.
