Keep Us Rolling: Fund the Future of the Georgia Ag Experience
After four years of traveling the state, the Georgia Ag Experience mobile classroom has reached a remarkable milestone — visiting all 159 counties, connecting with 85,000+ students, and delivering hands-on, STEM-based ag education through 400+ school and community stops. But now, we're facing a critical crossroads.
Why We’re Fundraising
The classroom was built with the help of a $1.3 million launch campaign in 2020–2021. That funding allowed us to build the trailer, purchase high-tech exhibits, and cover operational costs for the first few years. But as of 2025, that original funding is nearly exhausted — and we’ve struggled to raise sustained operational support at the scale required.
To continue this proven and in-demand program, we’ve launched a new campaign to raise $750,000 to fund the next three years of operations (2026–2028). This includes costs for staffing, fuel, maintenance, insurance, curriculum materials, and upgrades.
Campaign Goals
Help us raise $750,000 to fund three more years of operations for the Georgia Ag Experience mobile classroom. This campaign ensures we continue delivering free, hands-on ag education to students across Georgia — and replace the critical generator that powers it all.
-
$20,000 – Generator Replacement
Immediate need to restore power to the mobile classroom and avoid canceled school visits. -
$250,000/year – Annual Operations (2026–2028)
Covers staffing, travel, fuel, insurance, curriculum materials, technology upkeep, and trailer maintenance. -
$750,000 – Total Campaign Goal
Funds three full years of uninterrupted program delivery, reaching tens of thousands more students across Georgia.

Why the Georgia Ag Experience Works
The Georgia Ag Experience isn’t just a classroom on wheels — it’s a transformational tool that brings agriculture to life for students, especially those who may never visit a farm.
Here’s why educators, families, and communities believe in this program:
-
It reaches kids where they are. The mobile classroom visits schools in every corner of the state — urban, rural, and underserved.
-
It sparks curiosity. Students engage with holograms, hands-on exhibits, and live embryo cams that make learning unforgettable.
-
It’s teacher-approved. GAE is tied directly to Georgia’s academic standards, reinforcing what teachers are already teaching in science and social studies.
-
It opens career pathways. Many students walk away saying, “I didn’t know I could do that as a job!”
-
It builds trust. Community partners like 4-H, FFA, and GFB offices work alongside the program, making it local and relevant.
