About Our Partnership:
Agriculture is one of Georgia’s most important industries, and supporting its future takes both action and investment. That is where Georgia Farm Bureau and the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture come together.
While each organization has a distinct role, both share a deep commitment to serving Georgia farmers, educating consumers, and ensuring agriculture remains a strong and lasting part of Georgia’s economy and way of life.
Together, they create a powerful partnership that connects advocacy, education, outreach, and philanthropy to make a greater impact across the state.
Two Organizations. One shared purpose.
Georgia Farm Bureau
Georgia Farm Bureau serves as the voice of Georgia farmers, working to enhance the quality of life for producers and consumers across the state. Through advocacy, outreach, leadership development, and county-based programs, Georgia Farm Bureau supports agriculture in all 159 counties while helping the public better understand the importance of farming and where their food comes from.
Georgia foundation for agriculture
The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture focuses on preparing the next generation of leaders for success in agriculture. Through scholarships, educational programs, the Georgia Ag Experience mobile classroom, and farmer wellbeing initiatives, the Foundation invests in the people and programs that will sustain agriculture for years to come.
How the partnership works
Though they operate as separate organizations, their work is deeply connected.
The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture serves as the fundraising partner, generating the charitable support needed to grow and sustain meaningful agricultural programs.
Georgia Farm Bureau serves as the programming and impact partner, helping bring those initiatives to life through statewide reach, trusted relationships, and on-the-ground implementation.
Together, Georgia Farm Bureau and the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture invest in three key areas.
*Programs supported through the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture must align with charitable and educational purposes and are funded through structured agreements to ensure compliance and impact.

Why This Matters
By focusing on these mission-aligned areas, the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture ensures that all funds are used to support programs that deliver meaningful, measurable impact across Georgia.
Georgia Farm Bureau brings these programs to life through its statewide network, while the Foundation provides the resources to grow and sustain them.

HISTORY OF OUR ORGANIZATION
Founded by Georgia Farm Bureau in 2014 as the Georgia Farm Bureau Foundation for Agriculture, our organization began with a single goal: advance Georgia agriculture and build healthier communities. As our work and vision grew, we adopted a new name—the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture—and a broader mission: invest in the next generation of agricultural leaders through a robust pipeline of education, career, and producer‑support programs. Backed by Georgia Farm Bureau’s 158 county offices, we reach every corner of the state, multiplying our impact and ensuring Georgia’s farming future remains strong.
Why OUR WORK Matters
From classroom to combine, the Georgia Foundation for Agriculture secures the state’s No. 1 industry. We inspire kids with ag‑STEM and the Georgia Ag Experience (SEED), launch students into careers through scholarships and apprenticeships (GROW), and equip producers with business and wellness tools (HARVEST).
Powered by Georgia Farm Bureau’s 158 county offices, these programs reach every corner of the state—multiplying impact and keeping Georgia agriculture strong.
