Organizational Values

The success of The Georgia Foundation for Agriculture is derived from an engaged board of directors and dedicated staff. Together our work is guided by these core values:

EMPOWERMENT: We aim to equip students, teachers and farmers with the power of knowledge to understand of their role and achieve success in agriculture.
AUTHENTICITY: To embody honesty, transparency, openness and accountability, we value the importance of truth in everything we do. We aim to tell an authentic story of agriculture through our education of students, teachers, and donors. We embrace the diversity of agriculture but only share information that is real, genuine and true.
COLLABORATION: By working together with all stakeholders, we challenge each other to achieve what may not be possible alone. We aim to bring a collaborative spirit and strategy to our work to achieve the highest level of excellence.
INNOVATION: Agriculture is constantly evolving and our approach to education is a process. We strive to continuously improve and develop creative solutions to the problems we aim to solve.
STEWARDSHIP: Just as farmers are stewards of the land, we aim to always be good stewards of the resources we manage. Our staff and board will govern the organization with strict care and distribute resources with the purpose of advancing our mission.
